Why should we consider asking Manchester Mind for help?
We’re a respected charity with years of experience, supporting hundreds of businesses to develop workforce knowledge, skills and expertise in many different areas – such as mental health awareness, stress management and Mental Health First Aid. Income raised through charity training helps fund the continuation of our mental health services, so you’ll not only receive the professional help you need, but also know you’re ensuring the future of our charity.
We are interested in a corporate package, what would that look like and how much would it cost?
It’s tailored to your needs. There is a menu of options which we will discuss at an initial free consultation. Take a look at one of our example 12-month calendars for inspiration.
As a smaller organisation (without big budgets) can we still engage?
Of course! We can help navigate wellbeing solutions for big and small budgets. We can also help with suggestions for fundraising, which is great for low-cost team-building activities whilst gathering essential funds for our charity.
We have a significant sickness absence rate (related to mental health) – would this partnership make any difference?
UK businesses who invest in workplace wellbeing (and manager training) tend to have lower sickness absence rates. Fostering healthier work environments aids productivity and morale, allowing your business to thrive. By engaging with Manchester Mind you can demonstrate your commitment to employees, be it through formal awareness training, wellbeing workshops, signposting to self-care resources or commissioning our 1-2-1 services. Get in touch and we’ll see how we can help.
Do you offer counselling, peer support or other employee services?
Yes. This is available for you to purchase directly for your organisation. We will attend at a designated regular time slot with the same designated counsellor who will provide 1-2-1 support for your employees. This will be bookable, and sessions can be delivered online or face-to-face. Packages can include single sessions, which includes an initial triage session followed by a 50 minute support session, or we can arrange for multiple sessions to be included in your package.
Are there any rules or conditions within the corporate packages?
We aim to be as flexible as possible when creating each corporate package, so it meets your needs. However, we value the commitment partners make when submitting their training budgets and fundraising targets, which in turn allows us to deliver and plan tailored support to you during the year.
Do you have any testimonials from previous business clients?
Yes, you can read these here
How long does it take to create a partnership?
We will offer an initial free consultation within 2-4 weeks and will then be guided by you on what your partnership looks like and when you’d like it to start. For 1-2-1 wellbeing services, we may need up to 6 weeks lead time to secure your counsellor(s) or coach(es) for the duration of the partnership.
How responsive are you? We have reached out for help elsewhere, but no one gets back to us!
We’re really sorry that’s been your experience. We will usually respond within 5 working days, due to our flexible working hours, but it will most often be within 2 working days. If you’re worried about something and need help and support, you can contact our Welcome Team on 0161 769 5732. Lines are open 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday, except bank holidays.
How long do corporate partnerships last?
Usually 12 or 24 months, but each partnership is unique, so let us know if you want to support us for longer!
What free resources do you provide?
We have a range of resources accessible on our website via the wellbeing hub. You can also have access to some hard copy materials available via Mind, or Manchester Mind’s crisis cards, self-care information, or signposting for our services.
Are there any other benefits for our business, for example company logo on your website, mentions on social media to drive traffic our way?
We’d love to share the amazing things you’re doing with and for our charity. This may include case studies for great workplace wellbeing, or re-sharing fundraising posts.
What happens if we don’t hit our associated fundraising target?
We’ll help you plan your fundraising activities in advance, so that the target is realistic and achievable, and check in with you at each stage of the journey. However, if you do not reach the target, we can extend the timeframe or give additional support to help.
If we didn’t feel this was working for us what could we do?
That’s okay, sometimes our paths go in different directions. Just let us know and we will offer an end of partnership discussion to look at achievements and challenges.
We just want some training (or to just fundraise) can we do that still?
Yes of course, we’d be glad to discuss your training needs or fundraising plans for the year ahead, so get in touch.
We want something really specific, can you help?
Give us a try, we’ll see what we can do. We may be able to signpost to other local services too.
