Fundraising for Manchester Mind

We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and that we have a part to play in that. As an independent charity, we work hard to raise all our own funds to keep mental health services free, accessible and available.

Donations and help from our fantastic supporters make a real difference, enabling us to provide services to over 5000 adults and young people in Manchester, each year.

Every year, around 10% of our annual income is generated through donations. For every £1 donated we invest 15p to raise the next £1, to ensure continued help and services for those who need it the most.

How to fundraise

There are many different ways to fundraise, from taking part in sponsored events to organising your own event!

During the current pandemic we have created a virtual fundraising pack to inspire you at this difficult time.

If you’re a company or group there are also many other ways to contribute.

Fundraising Regulator

Manchester Mind is proud to be registered with the Fundraising Regulator, an independent body who set and maintain the standards of charitable fundraising. We commit to fundraising in an open, honest, legal and respectful way, and to follow the Code of Fundraising Practice. You can read this code here.

In memory fundraising

Fundraising such as organising your own event or taking part in a sponsored challenge can be a wonderful tribute to your loved one.

Manchester Mind is still here for anyone who is struggling with their mental health, but now we need your support…

We have recently launched our Covid19 emergency food response appeal.

We are hoping to raise £10,000 so we can buy staple ingredients and equipment to provide over 1600 meals per week to those experiencing severe food poverty.

Every donation will help make a real difference to the most vulnerable people in Manchester.
