The Big Mental Health Survey is your chance to share your experiences of mental health, seeking support, and using the mental health system.
What you tell us will help shape the annual Big Mental Health Report, giving decision-makers the evidence they need to drive real change. By taking part, you could help improve legislation, strengthen services, and create a mental health system that works better for everyone.
This survey is vital. It will give us a clearer understanding of people’s experiences of:
-
Primary care (such as your GP or practice nurse)
-
Secondary care (such as Community Mental Health Teams)
-
Voluntary and charity mental health support services
By identifying the biggest challenges, we can campaign for meaningful improvements both locally and nationally.
Who can take part?
You can complete the survey if:
>You are aged 16 or over
>You live in England or Wales
>You have used, or tried to use, primary care, secondary care, or charity mental health support within the past 12 months
The survey closes on 4 May.
It takes around 15–20 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous, and nothing you share will affect any care or support you receive.
Your experience matters.
