Since the introduction of Personal Independence Payments, people of working age cannot make new claims to Disability Living Allowance (DLA). However, if you care for a child with a mental health condition, you may be able to claim DLA for them.
Application
You can apply for DLA for a child by printing off and completing the DLA form found on the government website.
