Carrie’s Story: Connecting with Nature

Mental Health Awareness Week may be over but we had so many great stories and pictures from staff that we wanted to keep sharing them on here and on our social media channels. 

My ‘Go to’ Place for my wellbeing is the countryside in general and especially woodland areas.

My friend owns a wood and I love to spend time there noticing:

  • The change in the seasons
  • The change in weather and how the same place looks different every time
  • The amazing shapes of the trees, branches and roots
