World Mental Health Day 2025 – Friday 10 October

Friday 10 October wass World Mental Health Day (WMHD)

*We will keep this information up for another week but support and information will always be available on our website*

The theme this year was “Access to Services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies”.
It highlighted the importance of people being able to protect their mental health whatever they’re going through.

It’s especially prevalent today as we acknowledge the challenging times we’re facing globally, as well as here in Manchester.

Every day, we see how vital it is for people to know that help is there, that it is safe to ask for it, and that it is accessible when they need it most. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that.

Our Strategy

Making it easy to ask for help has been at the heart of our strategy for the last 3 years and has led us to embark on our journey to create an accessible, safe space in the centre of Manchester where we can offer more services to more people who need our help.

This includes:

On this World Mental Health Day, we were reminded that access to support can change lives; our new building is about more than bricks and mortar.

Our vision is that no one in Manchester should ever feel that help is out of reach – and this building is a tangible step towards making that vision real. With your support, we can ensure that this space becomes more than just a building. It can be a lifeline. A place of hope. A foundation for better mental health across our city.

“I am here because of you. I was alone and then I wasn’t”

Help us today

We can’t do it alone. With your donation, we can turn this vision into a reality, ensuring that thousands more people across our city have access to the mental health support they deserve. Donate here today
