1 to 1 Mental Health Support Sessions

If you are experiencing challenges that are affecting your mental health and wellbeing, a 1 to 1 Support Session with one of our trained Lived Experience Volunteers provides an opportunity to talk things through in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space.
During this free session, you are able to explore the difficulties you are facing, identify what matters most to you, and discuss practical steps that may help you move forward.
You may benefit from this service if:
• You are a Manchester resident and would like time and space to talk about your current situation and feel listened to.
• You are facing challenges in different areas of your life and would like help identifying priorities and next steps.
• You would benefit from support to identify your strengths, existing support networks, and available resources.
• You would like information about local, community or clinical services that may be able to support you further.
• You are looking for guidance to help you access additional support and services.
By the end of the session, you will be able to gain greater clarity about your situation, identify realistic next steps, and access information, signposting or referrals to appropriate support where needed. Sessions last up to one hour and may be extended to a second session if appropriate, please note this is not a counselling session.
