I am a public service leader currently leading a £10 billion funding portfolio within the UK Civil Service, focused on delivering better outcomes for people and communities.
Born in India and shaped in Manchester, which I still call home, I bring experience across government, finance and technology. I have held roles at Amazon’s payments business and in investment banking advisory at Credit Suisse, advising family offices and corporates on capital and strategic decisions.
My commitment to mental health is personal, shaped by family experience of depression and loss, which underpins my focus on improving access to support.
Currently I:
- chair Manchester Mind, providing strategic leadership to improve access to mental health support
- serve on the advisory board of Manchester Metropolitan University, supporting education and opportunity, particularly for first generation students
I hold a Master’s in International Relations from Cambridge, an MBA from Manchester, and a Business IT degree from Manchester Met University.
