Advice Volunteer
Many individuals face issues with their finances, managing their bills and their homes, free advice is vital to help everyone access the help they need. Navigating systems can be overwhelming, free advice services simplify this process, offering clear guidance and reducing stress. Our service aims to help them people navigate complex systems and empower them with the knowledge and support to make informed decisions.
We will provide full training covering areas such as the role of advice, safeguarding and confidentiality, empathy and listening skills, and good interview practice. After this there will be further training on welfare benefits, debt, and housing.
We are looking for someone, who is able to attend one session a week for at least 6 months, on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday.
