Manchester Mind believes in the power of listening and feeling heard and that a better understanding of mental health benefits everyone. We do this by providing a range of services across Manchester to young people and adults. A valuable part of this work has been the provision of services to children and young people aged 11-25 through our Children and Young People Services. The holistic mix of services delivered includes advice, volunteering, peer support, counselling and psycho-social support. Our services involve young people in design, development and delivery.

The Service Manager will support staff and play a strategic role in developing high quality services which meet the needs of young people in Manchester.

We would like to work with someone who is experienced, dynamic and passionate about being able to develop our services for children and young people.

Position:        Service Manager, Children & Young People Services

Salary:            £38,030

Hours:             35 hours per week

The skills and knowledge that are important to us are:

  • Being able to work in an open, supportive and collaborative way.
  • Experience of managing and developing services.
  • Experience of working strategically.
