We Need Your Help: Young People’s Focus Group Invitation

Now, more than ever, we know that young people are struggling with their mental health.

We are still here to help during this difficult time and are keen to spread awareness of the services we have available, and want to ensure that our services are the right ones.

We need some help to enable us to do this.

We would like to speak to young people (age 15-25) to find out:

  • The best ways to interact with young people to raise awareness of our services
  • What support is needed at the current time and how best to deliver it
  • What support young people may need from us in the future, helping us shape our services

We are planning on hosting our next focus group on:

  • Tuesday 6 October 4pm
  • Tuesday 3 November 4pm
  • Tuesday 1 December 4pm

Please help us spread the word.

If you would like to be involved in one of our focus groups (and possibly other research), or have any questions

Please send your name, address, age and email address.

Manchester Mind’s services have all been adjusted to allow young people to access support from home. These services include counselling, advice (for benefits, housing, work, study or money worries), virtual wellbeing café and listening ear service (telephone support to help manage difficult feelings). You can find out more here.

Manchester Mind is still here for anyone who is struggling with their mental health, but now we need your support…

We have recently launched our Covid19 emergency food response appeal.

We are hoping to raise £10,000 so we can buy staple ingredients and equipment to provide over 1600 meals per week to those experiencing severe food poverty.

Every donation will help make a real difference to the most vulnerable people in Manchester.

Find out how you can get involved.
