To support us in this work we are looking to recruit:
Finance Worker (13-month contract to cover maternity leave)
We are looking to recruit someone who can deliver financial support and management in a way that is collaborative and open, building good relationships with staff and volunteers. We are also looking for a person who can combine financial knowledge with being able to provide some telephone cover to ensure people contacting Manchester Mind are able to access services.
Salary: £20,661 - £22,658 pro rata (dependent on experience) (£16,528 - £18,126 actual) / Hours: 28 hours per week
The skills and knowledge that are important to us are:
Ability to deliver financial support in a collaborative way; Knowledge of financial systems and ability to provide reports; Ability to use Microsoft Office, including using financial spreadsheets; Ability to manage budgets.

Manchester Mind works in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust to deliver an Assertive Outreach Service across Manchester. The Manchester Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team with staff employed both by Manchester Mind and the Trust in order to provide an innovative service to a difficult to engage client group.
As a Social Worker you will be a crucial member of the team. If successful, you would be expected to proactively support and work with hard to reach service users, to care co-ordinate a caseload of service users with severe and enduring mental health problems and complex needs; to implement and record care plans and risk assessments and review them in collaboration with service users; to support an approach to the delivery of care with an ethos of team work, providing both specialist and generic interventions and act as a skill resource for the rest of the team; to liaise with and provide support to carers; to liaise with other statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure a comprehensive package of care is provided and to ensure that the service user is included in all decision making about their life.
